Coming to McCormick’s Cable Park for the first time? Here are some things to know:
- First things first! Before you come to the park, be sure to fill out a waiver! If you are under 18, your parent must sign it as well. They have to sign it in person at McCormick’s, or you must get it notarized if they can’t come to the park.
- There are two cables – the main cable and Lil Bro. The main one holds five riders at a time and runs clockwise around our man-made lake. Lil Bro is made for one rider and is for less experienced and/or younger riders. This is the best place to learn how to ride on a cable if you have never been before. It is also a good place to take lessons because it is shorter and is set off in a small cove on the end of the lake, away from the main cable.
- Rates are $25 for one hour, $28 for two hours, $30 for four hours, and $48 daily. Season passes are available at certain times in an extremely limited quantity. The best way to find out about these is by following us on Twitter, Facebook and/or MySpace.
- You don’t need to bring anything but a bathing suit! Rentals of helmets, wakeboards, wakeskates, life jackets, and other gear are available in the McCormick’s Pro Shop. The prices are listed on our “rates” page and are priced by the hour.
- All riders must wear a helmet and life jacket. Wakeskaters are required to wear proper shoes.
- During the fall and winter the park will be CLOSED Mondays and Tuesdays.
- There are ten obstacles currently with more in the works.
- In addition to the cable park, McCormick’s has a boat lake with brand new Nautiques pulling for wakeboard, wakeskate, slalom, jump, and trick daily.
- Lessons are available and are $45 per hour.
- Absolutely NO DOGS are allowed at the park for safety reasons.
